Held in a well equipped hide local to Bourne and Stamford in Lincolnshire, our Nocturnal Wildlife Workshop gives you a fantastic opportunity to capture the visiting creatures and what they get up in the dead of the night.

On the evening, tuition will be given on how to capture the animals including but cannot guarantee, Tawny Owls, Herons, Otters. To achieve amazing imagery we will be using flash photography. Instructions will be given as to when you press the shutter button as we don't want to scare the wildlife, this isn't a red carpet and a paparazzi approach will not be allowed.

The hide that we will be situated in has a mirrored glass at water level of the pond and therefore giving us the best photo opportunities you could only dream of getting. As the workshop is over night, the hide offers heating, a toilet, comfortable seating a bedroom if you need a rest and a basic kitchen.

If a fault arises with the equipment only Jamie will be allowed out of the hide to adjust or fix.

What is involved?
Depending on the time of the year, the session usually starts 1 hour before sunset and will finish no later than 8am the next morning. Workshops are also held at the weekend so you have time to catch up on sleep!

Each photographer gets their own clear space in order to be able to get a clear view so they can photograph the wildlife when it appears.

These workshops are increasing popular, with regulars returning also, so please contact me to check availability and cost at that point. Each time we go back, you never know what you will see so bring plenty of memory cards to fill.
