Come and join me within the wilderness of the Arctic Circle as we go searching for the Aurora Borealis in Finland and achieve fantastic photo evidence to wow your friends and family.

For the past Ten years we have had a 100% success rate with our clients who have come to search and photograph the Northern Lights as far north as we can possibly go in North Finland. We have managed to achieve this through working with a fantastic company who is fully insured, ABTA and ATOL protected, that provides the holiday along with flights, accommodation and activities.

Due to our unique location within Finland, we will be surrounded by clear skies and experience virtually no light pollution as we reside on the Northern Lights route which can be found on the border of Sweden and Finland.

Each year we manage to find new shooting locations to capture the Northern Lights, so no trip is the same.

This workshop is suited for all levels of photographer and full tuition shall be given to all clients. We insist on being a small group, no more than 6, so that you have plenty of individual tuition during the trip to obtain beautiful Aurora photographs and memories of this natural phenomenon that will last a lifetime!

After each evening we shall have time the following day to review images before taking part in one of our organised daytime activities. Please note that these activities are optional and it is your choice to participate or not).

We’ll organise the running order according to the local conditions while you’re there.

The aim of this workshop is to teach you how to get the most out of your Photography time in Lapland whilst Photographing the Northern Lights and the beautiful surroundings.

My hope is only that you have had an amazing time at the end of your stay, captured some amazing images and go home maybe a little tired, but with a nice grin on your face having captured photos only others can wish for!

PLEASE NOTE: This workshop shall run regardless of how many people are booked onto it. Whilst we cannot guarantee the Northern Lights will make an appearance every evening, we will do our best to make things work.

What services does RPW provide?

Tuition prior to the holiday and for the duration of the holiday
Teaching you tips and tricks of how to obtain low light imagery so you're ready when we arrive in Finland the very first evening
Meet and greet at the Airport - we all fly together as group
Full photographic tuition whilst in Finland each evening and during some of the daytime
Guidance and review on how you may go about editing your images
Organisation of our groups activities for the week other than Photography.

What are the activities included in the trip?

Northern Lights Snowmobile Safari
- Duration: 2 hours
- An evening excursion to hunt for the Northern Lights on a snowmobile.

Northern Lights Forest Trek
- Duration: 1 hour
- A guided walk through the forest to a spectacular viewpoint, ready to welcome the Northern Lights.

Call of the Wild Husky Safari
- Duration: 1 hour
- An unforgettable adventure into the wilderness, pulled by your own team of beautiful huskies.

Reindeer Camp
- Duration: 2 hours
- Learn about herding and lassoing reindeer from reindeer farmers, then venture into the wilderness on a reindeer sleigh safari.

Can my partner/friend attend the trip even if they don't do photography?

Yes of course they can join us, the more the merrier!

If they wish to join but don't want any photography tuition they can do and will be entitled to a 10% reduction in the holiday price from the supplier. However, to obtain the discount both places must be booked at the same time.
